Sirio Luginbühl was an experimental cinematographer in the Italian "underground" cinema scene of the 1970s and '80s.
This book is designed as an autobiographical diary, featuring a series of short texts, stories, images (such as old postcards and documents), and photographs collected by the author throughout his life. The cover showcases a lenticular image made from two frames of one of his films.
Here is a press article on eyeondesign.
In 2018, I also designed the English version of the book, maintaining the same layout. You can find a copy through motto publishing.
Additionally, I designed a catalog, with the cover image rotated 90° along the spine and back. Like an old 35mm film, the viewer must rotate the book vertically to view the full image.
